Where 4x4 RGV works

We serve the whole Rio Grande Valley, from the coast to the western ranch towns, with a shop for the heavy work and mobile bays for trucks that cannot come in.

The lower Valley

Brownsville, Los Fresnos, San Benito, Harlingen, Port Isabel and South Padre sit in the lower Valley, where salt air, beach runs and the port traffic shape what breaks. Trucks here deal with humidity and heavy loads more than anywhere else we work, and coastal owners tend to rinse undercarriages after beach trips for good reason.

The mid and upper Valley

McAllen, Edinburg, Mission, Pharr, Weslaco, Mercedes and the surrounding towns make up the busiest stretch, where expressway traffic, towing and stop-and-go driving wear brakes, transmissions and suspension fastest. This is also where our fleet accounts are densest, so mobile routes run here most often.

Ranch country and the west

West of the cities, caliche roads, farm equipment and long hauls between towns put different demands on a truck. Mobile service is especially useful out here, where towing a down rig to town can cost more than the repair itself and a stopped truck can idle a whole crew for a day.

Mobile and on-site service

If a truck will not start, should not be driven or is needed on a jobsite, a mobile tech can often come to it. We work on pavement, gravel and packed caliche, and for fleet accounts we schedule routes so several units are handled in one visit rather than one at a time.

Not sure if we cover your address?

The service area covers the towns named above and most of the Valley in between, and mobile work reaches ranches and jobsites well off the highway. Send your address or the nearest cross street when you ask for a quote and we will confirm whether we can reach you, usually the same day. If you are just outside the usual radius, we will say so honestly instead of booking a visit we cannot keep.

Finding us and what to bring

Most work comes to the shop, and directions are confirmed with your appointment rather than left to guesswork. Bring the truck, any recent receipts and a note of what it is doing. If a mobile visit makes more sense, we arrange that instead and tell you what access the technician needs, such as room around the vehicle and a safe place to work. Either way, you know where and when before the visit, and there are no surprises on arrival.

Send us your truck

Tell us the truck and what it is doing. We reply with a written estimate for parts and labor.
